You've
finally completed your website. It's your calling card into
the world of Internet Marketing. People from all over the planet
are now your potential customers or clients.
You've
spent the energy, gathered photos, did the research, hired a
webmaster, selected your keywords, bought your domain name,
got approved for a merchant account, and you're ready to rock-and-roll
on the Internet. You expect thousands of hits and hundreds of
orders pouring in on the first day of your launch.
And
why not?
Everyone's
got a website nowadays. And many businesses operate multiple
sites. You've read stories of Internet marketers making untold
thousands of dollars per campaign without breaking a sweat and
you want your share of that pie. Online sales grow exponentially
each year as more people gain access and begin to trust secure
online transactions.
But
why do only a small percentage of sites make money while the
majority of sites barely break even?
Here
lies the main reason...
Most
website owners don't know what to put on their site. They know
they need one so they immediately hire a webmaster. This could
be their Aunt Mabel, a high school student who loves 3D animation,
or some grungy looking nerd sipping a latte at Starbucks. And
they tell their webmaster to make their site look just like
"SoAndSo.com."
Problem
is, these web geeks are clueless. They aren't marketers. They
know how to write code, but don't know the first thing about
getting inside the minds of consumers:
What
makes them tick?
What
makes them act?
What's causing their problems?
Without
knowing how to communicate to consumers, you end up with an
expensive, colorful announcement.
It's
just like hiring an ad agency to create money-losing ads. Or
allowing your Yellow Pages agent to design your ad. You upload
your money into Cyberspace and the silence is deafening. You'd
probably get more action during a wake.
Or
worse, they attempt to use a free web building wizard from their
Internet Service Provider. Without the know-how: there are missing
photos, dead links, page discontinuity, visual syntax issues,
code appearing on the page, and cheesy looking graphics. And
most of the time, there are unnecessary filler items.
From
a design and marketing standpoint, here's what a typical website
does that repels sales...
- This
is my great looking website;
- These
are links to other groups we know;
- Here's
a button to bookmark this page;
- Don't
forget to read our mission statement;
- Our
USP is: "To help you make better decisions";
- See
how pretty our building is;
- We
use professionally designed, generic graphics;
- Nobody
reads text-that's why we use a dark background;
- We
can make our logo spin;
- You
are the 959th visitor;
- These
are the links that no longer work;
- You'll
type less because we use initials in our domain name;
- Here's
a cute quote that has nothing to do with this page... or this
site;
- We've
got 259 professional speakers who are too shy to show their
photos;
- You
know we're good with the list of clients we've done business
with;
- Here
are the missing graphics we didn't want you to see; and finally,
- Aren't
you impressed with all those college words we use?
In
the meantime, your web visitor is wondering what this has to do
with him? He's trying to figure out what this site is trying to
communicate. And like all prospects, he's desperately wanting
to know "What's in it for me?"
People
are generally copycats. They copy ads that don't work. They copy
sales pitches that repel people. And they copy websites that don't
generate money.
But
it doesn't have to be this way...
You
can design sites that generate leads, sell product, build databases,
offer free information, educate consumers, are interactive,
register for seminars, link to other sites, brand your expertise,
sell an e-course or e-book, offer downloadable audio or video,
or create an army of affiliates.
It's
pretty easy to make money online if you know how. I've produced
a five-week e-course to show you the path to online profits.
You'll discover:
1)
Design Secrets of Profitable Websites;
2) Marketing Secrets of Profitable Websites;
3) Seven Types of Profitable Websites;
4) Traffic Secrets of Profitable Websites; and,
5) Conversion Secrets of Profitable Websites.
Here's
what we'll cover:
- The
reasons why your prospects leave without buying;
- Color
combination blunders;
- How
to increase website stickiness;
- The
biggest mistakes web designers make;
- How
to boost your credibility;
- What
options to offer buyers;
- How
most sites destroy their image;
- The
most important element missing from money-losing sites;
- Where
to best place your keywords;
- How
to move up the search rankings; and,
- The
one real purpose for making the sale... and it's not what you
think.
This
e-course is not full of fluff or gimmicks. There's nothing in
this course that even hints at fooling search engines. It's
designed for business owners who want to consistently make profits
online. And I'm not talking about making $10 each from your
three affiliate links. I'm talking about long-term, drink-out-of-a-coconut
money.
What's
the investment?
A
mere $47. Which is a fraction of what you'd pay for courses
of this nature. This is a no holds barred look at how to make
money with your website. Every day.
These
are the same techniques I use for critiquing business sites.
I charge between $500 to $1,000 for a website critique. And
that's only if you can convince me to look at it. It's usually
too time-consuming. You get to learn my coaching secrets for
under $50.
Bonus
offer for e-zine subscribers...
If
you're signing up for Tommy's Tease e-zine, you'll get this
Web Mastery e-course absolutely free! It's my gift to you for
subscribing.
Why
am I being generous?
It's
not because I'm a nice guy. (Although most people think I am.)
It's because I know people who put these lessons into action
will finally make consistent profits. And I can use their success
story for other promotions.
But
please don't take advantage of my generosity. Don't sign up
all your friends with hobby websites. They'd probably never
begin the course. And I wouldn't get any testimonials.

to my opt-in page to enter your
first name and primary e-mail in the e-zine subscription form
to start cashing in on your website.
